The Ministry of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs has announced that the bill to abolish the pensions of MPs will be presented to the Cabinet next week.
The draft bill, drafted by the Ministry of Justice, has been referred to the Attorney General for review.
This move is in line with an election promise made by the current government.
The ministry further said that the issuance of vehicle licenses to MPs has already been suspended.
